soundtrack of our lives
the ones that bring back --
best friends, childhood memories,
first loves, first heartbreaks...
the memories.

I’ll tell you what the end of the world will be like. it will be a final moment; both terrible & heartbreaking.
absolute chaos. people running as fast as they ever have, cars filling every road &freeway,
phone lines backed up trying to process millions of calls, fingers flying over keyboards, thumbs texting like rapid fire,
long lines of people trying to cram themselves into subways & airplanes. ALL OF THEM trying to tell someone else,
"i love you." because the world will be ending and it would be there last chance

You can always tell when two people are best friends
cause they`re always having way more fun than
it makes sense for them to be having.

Somehow I knew we would be friends. We'd have our fights, our ups & downs, but when the big things came along, we could work anything out. We'd fight over guys then laugh it off because we learned it wasn't worth it. We knew that our friendship would make it through anything. It feels like we've been friends forever, & really, we have. But no matter what, you've always been there when I needed you the most, & I love you to death for that.

Sometimes we're piled on the couch wearing sweats
Eating the kind of ice cream we like
Watching our favorite tv show
Talking in the shorthand way we talk that nobody understands
And I realize that this very day, simple, no-big-deal moment, this is my happiness.

We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere.

of all the things i question in life, i have one answer
in my mind. what you need is that one person who
keeps you going, that one person who manages to
take all the pain away. it amazes me that the one
person who stays with you through everything, makes
you forget all about the others who didn't. a single soul
out of the billions in the world can make you feel like you
are the world. life is only worth living if there is someone
worth living for. you need that someone who fills the
empty space in your heart, someone who lets you know
you're so much more than enough. i hope everyone finds
that someone who makes their days worthwhile and i thank
God you're that person to me. thanks for being my angel.

this is something that is going to open people's eyes. Its going to make people drop their bottles and hold on to their friends. People don't realize that all we have is today. Yesterday is already gone, and tomorrow might not come.
